Should the camper bring a soccer ball?

A ball should be brought each day to the clinic/program.

What is the day program refund/cancellation policy?

All cancellations must be requested in writing or by email to If cancellation occurs eight (8) or more days prior to the start of camp, all fees will be returned except the $100 administrative fee. If cancellation occurs within the week prior to the first day of camp, all fees will be returned except a $150 administrative fee.

When/where do we arrive at clinic/program on the first day?

On the first day of the clinic/program you will accompany your son and daughter to the field for registration about 15 minutes prior to the start of the program.

What is the player: staff ratio?

10:1 for field players and 5:1 for goalkeepers

Does my son or daughter need to be at a certain level of soccer ability to attend camp?

No specific level of ability is required. We just ask that all players bring the desire to learn and have fun. BGSA will help them reach the next level! All players should be prepared to play a lot of soccer and be in good physical condition for multiple trainings per day.

When do the residential camps open/close?

Registration for overnight players begins at 12:00pm on Sunday or Monday (the 1st day of the program). All players are asked to check in at this time and the program begins immediately with the first of two training sessions on Sunday. As parents you are free to leave after registration has been completed.

The camp closes on Thursday with the final round of tournament games which begin at 12:00pm. We ask the players to pack all of their belongings in the morning.

What is the typical daily schedule at a residential camp?

Please note that the following schedule is a rough idea of each complete day at the Beautiful Game Soccer Academy Residential Program (Mon/Tues/Wed). The actual schedule is determined by the program director and is affected by variables such as weather conditions and skill level of players.

7:00am: Run (Optional)

7:30am: Breakfast

9:00am: Session 1: Technical Training/Small sided games

12:15pm: Lunch

12:45am: Down time activities (All fully supervised)

2:30pm: Session 2: Tactical training and circuit training

5:15pm: Dinner

7:00pm: Session 3: World Cup Tournament (Small sided or 11 v 11)

9:00pm: Evening Activities (More information can be found below)

10:00pm: Lights out

What items does my child need to pack for the camp?

A detailed list of items to pack will be included within an information sheet prior to the clinic program. Items include soccer uniforms, shin guards, cleats (outdoor) and flats (indoor). Casual evening clothes are also a good idea. Sandals/flip flops must be worn in and around the dining areas.

What are the housing accomodations?

Campers will be staying in dorm-style accommodations. Most rooms can accommodate 2 - 4 campers. You may request whom you would like to room with, and mutual requests are honored. If no request has been made, a roommate will be assigned to you based on your age. Special requests for triples are taken into consideration, however these are extremely limited and not guaranteed. Rooming assignments are made one week prior to each camp session, changes made after that time cannot be guaranteed. We do our best to honor all requests. Be sure to bring single bed sheets, pillow, blanket, fan, and lamp. Campers are welcome to bring a cell phone (to use during free time only).

Are the meals provided?

Yes, all meals are provided in the cost of program. Please remember that the first meal served will be dinner on Sunday. Campers eat in an on-campus cafeteria offering a variety of selections and unlimited portions. Lunchtime always offers a hot meal/salad bar/sandwich bar. Dinner always offers a hot meal/salad bar/pasta bar. A snack bar is available each night to provide snacks and drinks after the evening games. Participants in the summer program may also order pizza for the evening activities.

Does my child need any spending money?

Before the residential program begins, each camper will be required to set up a "Canteen bank". (Suggested $50) The staff will keep track of the money spent by each camper which can be used to purchase snacks, drinks and order pizza. This money will also be used as a security deposit for the rooms in case of damage. Any money left over will be credited back to your credit card within two weeks following the end of your camp week.

Can I have more information about the evening activities?

Our camps are heavily focused into improving each individual player however in the evenings (after 8:30pm) we understand the importance of allowing the players time to enjoy the camp by offering other social activities. We offer different activities each night of the week which include karaoke, ‘rock band’ competitions and time to explore downtown on the final night of camp. The high school programs are also offered an evening of lectures on playing soccer at the collegiate level.

U9-U13 PLAYERS: Karaoke Night, Talent Show, FIFA Tournament, Team Bonding (Night Downtown, Ice Cream Social), Movie Night, or Mini Golf

U14-U18 PLAYERS: College Preparation, FIFA Tournament, Movie Night/Quiz Night, Team Bonding (Night Downtown, Ice Cream Social), Team Tactical Night, or Mini Golf

Does my child need a Medical Form?

A medical form/waiver is essential for your child to attend camp. This must be sent in no later than June 1st. If your child’s doctor’s appointment is scheduled for a date later than this, please fax the form in as soon as it is filled out to (888) 864 - 8563. Please be aware that the form must be filled out completely in order for your child to participate in camps. If your child has a medical form from school or another camp- you can attach this to our form- but be sure to complete the top portion, the insurance portion, and the waiver on the bottom of our form. Can my son/daughter bring a cell phone/electronics to camp?

Yes, cell phones are permitted on site but no cell phones are permitted during camp activities.

My child is unable to attend the summer program…What is the Beautiful Game Soccer Academy’s refund policy?

For Residential programs there is a non-refundable $400 for the administrative costs and set costs that need to be prepaid in advance of the program. We reserve the right to handle all refunds on an individual basis.
